The Clubhouse is reopening on October 19th

A message about the reopening of the Clubhouse from The Yale Club

We are thrilled to share additional information with you regarding The Yale Club of New York City’s first phase of reopening.

On Monday, October 19th we will reopen the Main Lounge, Fitness & Squash Center, and Library, including the Thorton Wilder (computer), Music and Study Rooms. During the first phase of reopening, The Club will be open from 7:00 am-8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with athletics facilities open from 8:00 am-7:00 pm. Some of the spaces may appear different to account for proper social distancing, but the Clubhouse will still be your same “home away from home” that you have come to love.

At this time, we are not offering food or beverage services. As we have said from the outset of this process, the health and safety of our members and staff is our utmost concern. We are working to begin this service as soon as it is feasible and will continue to keep you updated on all developments.

We know food and beverage service is a priority for many of you, which means restoring this service is a priority for us. Thank you for your patience.

In addition to planning on welcoming you back in the coming days, our team has been busy planning other exciting activities for members this month. For Halloween, we will be hosting a virtual Pumpkin Carving (10.18) and an All Ages Virtual Halloween Party (10.30).

We will also welcome members and their families to stop by the Club on October 29th and 30th to pick up a complimentary Trick-or-Treat Goodie Bag that will include candy for the children and specialty cocktails for purchase for the adults. Additionally, we will continue hosting our virtual lecture series, happy hours, and other events, including a virtual Oktoberfest beer tasting. While we would all prefer to see you in-person, we have truly enjoyed connecting with everyone online, and will continue our virtual programming.

We will be introducing a number of new policies to ensure the health and safety of our members and staff for our reopening on October 19th. We look forward to seeing you soon.
