Located in the very heart of Manhattan just steps from Grand Central Terminal, The Clubhouse is a gracious home away from home for members. The DKE Club shares associate status at The Yale Club of New York City along with the college clubs of Dartmouth University and University of Virginia.
The Clubhouse itself was designed in 1915 by James Gamble Rogers, architect of Yale’s Sterling Memorial Library as well as the Harkness Quad and Tower. With over $10 million in recent capital improvements, the Clubhouse combines traditional elegance with contemporary amenities. Hailed for its dignified neoclassical design, upon opening the building became the largest Clubhouse in the world and continues to be the largest college Clubhouse in the world.
The 22-story Clubhouse includes 138 gracious guestrooms, three restaurants, including the elegant Roof Dining Room and Bar, modern athletic equipment and banquet and catering facilities for up to 200 people. The Club offers an exclusive atmosphere and is committed to providing members with extraordinary service and personal attention.
Join the DKE Club today to enjoy its benefits and facilities as well as those of the Yale Club.

A tranquil oasis in the heart of midtown. With its gold coffered ceiling and handsome, comfortable spaces, the Library is one of the largest, and surely most peaceful, of any Club in the city.
There are over 50,000 volumes in the collection, with more than 1,000 new titles added each year. This is an active lending library and a tranquil haven for when you want to read or study, browse through a magazine, or wirelessly surf the web. There are travel guidebooks, financial and legal reference books, books on tape, and over 100 periodicals. For parents visiting with young ones, there is even a collection of children's books.
The library is often the pleasant setting for such special events as lectures and readings by authors, as well as the popular annual children's story-hour and brunch.
